This stunning full carbon racing bike with disc brakes is fitted with electronic Shimano 105 Di2 12-speed group. Ride comfort, stability and stiffness characterise this bolide.
We adjust the bike completely to your size, and we really mean down to the smallest detail. May we therefore also ask you to fill in the sheet as accurately as possible? Then our mechanic Steve will do everything in his power to make sure you will soon be able to explore the wide surroundings of Orihuela Costa without any worries. This is why you need to fill in a separate booking form for each bike you want to hire.
Internal cable routing
Italo’s steering angle is narrower than a normal racing model. This, together with the geometry of the top tube (shorter) and the head tube (higher), leads to a more elongated frame and therefore more stable on the uneven surfaces.
Rear stays
The exclusive seat stay design is studied to absorb shocks and vibration also on paved road or “strade bianche”.
Disc brakes
The disc brakes allow a perfectly safe braking experience. The design of fork and frame was updated to meet the standard disc brakes requirements.
You probably have your own road bike at home. Please measure it as accurately as possible according to the drawing below. That way, we can adjust your rental bike as if it were your own.
A= Distance in cm between the middle point of the crank and the top of the saddle
B = Distance in cm between the front of the saddle and the middle point of the handlebar
No bike to measure? No problem. Measure the length of your inside leg and arm length so we can still adjust your rental bike just right. (A) Stand with your legs about 15 cm apart and measure the distance between the ground and your crotch height.TIP: Use a book that is not too thick. Place the book with one side against a wall and then push it up as far as possible between your legs. Now measure the distance from the ground to the top of the book. (B) For arm length, it is best to take a pen in your hand. Let the arm hang relaxed along your body. Measure the distance from the pen to top of the shoulder (joint gap).
